We try to take our Primary Seven (P7) students on a special trip each year. This is a special time for this group of students who spend all year taking extra classes and spending long, long hours studying for national exams. The P7 Trip is a wonderful unifying time for our sons, daughter and staff. It is also a welcomed break from the long hours of studying. This study tour has happened for many consecutive years thanks to  God’s provision through the Saints from Calvary Chapel of Downey and

now their partners Calvary Chapel Kent. This year it was scheduled on the 26th and 27th of September 2013. 64 of us staff, pupils of EEVPS and team members from Calvary Downey USA toured Murchison Falls National Game Park in Masindi District Uganda, the pearl if Africa. They traveled by two buses on a six hour drive. This was a life experience to some children as they had never traveled such a long journey.

Both children and staff had a great opportunity to see God’s creation with their naked eyes i.e animals, the falls, vegetation, the Nile River and Budongo Forest. Strong vertical and horizontal relationship was built through conversations, singing and praising God, laughter plus plenty of snacks they had on the way. The breakdown of the ferry at the Nile and the storm on the boat ride pro-longed the journey but God’s mighty hand was with them as no danger befell them. All in all, many testimonies and praises they came back with were
