New Hope Uganda is seeking committed men and women who are in relationship with Jesus Christ to join our team in bringing the Fatherhood of God to the fatherless. Cheif Development Officer
The Chief Development Officer would be a Uganda based role, serving to oversee and direct all aspects of the ministry related to donor relations. This person would be responsible for defining and leading systems for marketing, communications, sponsorship, teams, and guesthouses. He or she would serve as a liaison between NHU in Uganda and NHUM in the USA, and would work in tandem with the NHUM President to insure that donors and ministry partners receive excellent communication and care.
Missionary Kid Teachers
Several of our missionary families are in need of a teacher to assist in their homeschooling efforts. Teachers with the ability to teach elementary and/or high school grades are needed.
New Hope Uganda is in need of a construction manager to supervise all aspects of building and maintaining the infrastructure of Kasana Children’s Center and to invest in the spiritual development of the construction team. Applicant needs to:
- Be Highly flexible and adaptable in order to respond effectively to constantly changing needs in maintenance and construction.
- Be Capable of leading a small team with minimal budget to meet the infrastructure needs of the ministry.
- Have a thorough understanding of electrical, plumbing, roofing, concrete, masonry, and carpentry skill sets.
- Have a general understanding of accounting principles and be able to make and manage a budget.
- Have a learner’s attitude and able to ask good questions in order to understand and improve existing systems.
Marketing Field Reporter
This Uganda-based missionary role will support the marketing initiatives for all of NHU. This person will be a direct liaison between the team in the USA and the team in Uganda. They will travel between NHU’s three locations to provide reports and photos as needed to be used in all marketing pieces; including social media, email campaigns, newsletters, blog posts, and other publications. They will also be coordinating filming days and assisting with script writing for our video projects with our professional videographer. Must be a self-starter, able to work independently, and creative.
