Kobwin Children’s Center
Located in Eastern Uganda, Kobwin Children’s Centre was founded to care for children who were victims of the atrocities committed by Joseph Kony and his Lord’s Resistance Army.
Rescued children were often highly traumatized and needed intense rehabilitation before they could reenter society. Our team at Kobwin has seen many of these young men and women find healing and hope as they have become followers of Jesus.
Today, Kobwin is a thriving children’s center caring for children orphaned by HIV/AIDS, poverty, or abandonment.
Kobwin Children’s Center houses the following ministries in part or in whole:
- Family Groups
- Elementary School
- Childcare Extension Program
- Kobwin Community Church
- Enterprise Farm
