Josiah & Autum Dangers

Director of Missionary Care & Development

4 Years Serving with New Hope Uganda Ministries (U.S.)

I grew up as a missionary kid in Uganda. My parents (Jay & Vicki Dangers) founded and were leading New Hope Uganda, a fledgling-turned-thriving ministry to orphans. Life was abundant and overflowed with joy, pain, sorrow, victory, heartache, failure, discipline, grace, and comfort. We worked hard, played hard, laughed hard, ministered hard, wept hard, and slept hard. I think that is probably how we were meant to live and love.

In 2015, my wife Autum and I moved our family to Uganda for six months to serve with NHU. After our return to the U.S., God led us to the role of Missionary Care Director for New Hope Uganda. We love serving with New Hope because we believe so strongly that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is the hope for the world and bringing the Fatherhood of God to the fatherless is such a tangible expression of the Gospel.
