In 1986, God called us to Uganda to “Bring the Fatherhood of God to the fatherless” by founding New Hope Uganda. We have watched God bring His Fatherhood and the Gospel of Jesus Christ to thousands of children. Having directed NHU for 30+ years, many of my (Jay) responsibilities have changed. I’m increasingly a “grandfather”, guiding, coaching, and influencing the new generation of leaders. Vicki, along with my daughter Julia, still support me in any way they can, but primarily through warm hospitality.
We are blessed and grateful as we’ve seen the fulfillment of our prayers: “Let the favor of the Lord our God be upon us, and establish the work of our hands for us; yes, establish the work of our hands!” Ps. 90:17. And, “Not unto us O LORD, not unto us, but to Your name be the glory.” Ps. 115:1a.
