KOBWIN CHILDREN’S CENTER

Located in Ngora district, Kobwin Children’s Center was set up to care for children who had suffered under the atrocities of Joseph Kony and the LRA rebellion. Providing a safe home, education, and medical treatment for children in the surrounding villages.
Its seven family groups are home to 120 children, and an additional 560 children receive care at Kasana. At Kasana, every child experiences love, holistic care, education, medical care, and is introduced to their Heavenly Father through discipleship.
Family Groups

The NHU model is based on Psalm 68:5-6 where God sets the lonely in families. NHU provides a non-institutional family model where children can feel safe, grow in Christ and learn to live as family.
Special Needs

The stigma of living with disabilities can be overwhelming and in Uganda many families are faced with insurmountable challenges. NHU’s Treasures in Jars of Clay ministry provides a place for children with disabilities to find value and understanding that they too were created in the image of God.
Early Adulthood

The transition from being a child to a young adult has it’s own unique set of challenges. NHU’s Early Adulthood program operates our Investment Year program which disciples, trains and explores what it means to be an adult.
