Teams

Whether it be a short term trip to another country, a life time of missionary service, serving in your own neighborhood or around the world, we, as disciples of Christ are called to “go.” Go to show the love of Christ to those in need of His love; go to make disciples; go to labor alongside faithful servants and in so doing, be of encouragement to the family of God.
As you consider a short term trip of service to one of New Hope Uganda’s three unique sites, let us help you along in the process. First begin praying not only that our Father God would direct and guide every step of the way, but that He would clearly show you how your team has been equipped to serve, and which location might be the best fit for your team.
At Kasana Children’s Centre we have been blessed by numerous teams, individuals and families who have used their construction or maintenance skills to build, medical knowledge to help in our clinic, teaching ability to assist in the primary school, and those with a common love for God’s children to point them to Him through VBS and other similar programs.
At Musana Camps we are looking for those who are willing to labor with both hands and heart to continue building what began as a vision and is slowly becoming a reality. Construction skills are valuable here along with willing and able bodies!
At Kobwin Children’s Centre we are looking for churches and teams who are willing to make a long term commitment to the formerly abducted children housed safely at this centre. We truly need those who will walk alongside our children and staff as they grow into a family and the centre grows into a home. Medical and construction teams, those with specific teachable trade skills, and educators who would like to tutor students one on one would be a true blessing to the staff and children in Kobwin.
Next download the information that we have compiled to help you along the way. The Team Leader Information will help even the first time team leader prepare a team for service at New Hope. Much goes into the travel aspect of bringing a team. Our Team Travel Info was created for the purpose of making travel as trouble-free as possible. After you have read both the Travel and Leader Information, contact our Teams Coordinator through our website contact page.
Once in contact with our Teams Coordinator you will be asked to send your personal testimony and information about your church (if your team is coming in affiliation with a church). Then, confirmation can be made about your team’s service including locations and dates. You will also need to download the Skills Assessment Form, and have each team member fill one out and send them to the Teams Coordinator who will then be able to work with you in planning your time and service with us at New Hope Uganda.
Thank you for your interest in New Hope Uganda. If you are interested in leading a team or details on visiting our organization in Uganda, you can download the files below.
