Foreign & National Staff – From Josiah Dangers Director of Missionary Care and Development

“After this I looked, and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nationtribe, people and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb.” Revelations 7:9

People from every nation and tribe – a heavenly reality that we can glimpse here on earth from time to time.  Throughout its existence, New Hope Uganda has enjoyed and celebrated the blessing of diversity among our staff.  Staff from the USA, Canada, England, Ireland, Germany, Congo, Kenya, Sudan, and over twenty different tribes in Uganda have made their mark on New Hope over the years.

For all the international staff, the goal is to raise up and empower Ugandan Christians to be the catalysts for Gospel-transformation in their nation. Our current staff ratio is 88% Ugandan and 12% foreign. We are delighted not only with the number of Ugandans that God is raising up to bring Gospel solutions to Ugandan problems, but also with the quality of these great men and women.

As the numbers suggest, our Ugandan staff do the vast majority of the direct ministry to the children that God has entrusted to NHU.  You can encourage and support them through prayer and through staff sponsorship.  Sponsorship is used to offset the salaries for our Ugandan staff.  Join us in empowering Ugandan staff in their irreplaceable work.
