Get Involved

NHU hosts many short-term teams at our three main sites every year. Whether it be a short-term trip to another country, a life time of missionary service, serving in your own neighborhood, church or around the world, disciples of Christ are called to go. We are called to go to show the love of Christ to all, go to make disciples and go to labor alongside faithful servants. In doing so, we encourage and are encouraged by the body of Christ, and participate in spreading the Gospel to the ends of the earth.

Vision Trips

  • February 28th – March 13th, 2019.  The purpose will be to see firsthand the work God has done, visit with NHU leadership, be informed about future projects, opportunities to serve while there, and build relationships with staff and children at New Hope Uganda.  Travel to all three sites will be included as an option on this trip.

New Hope Uganda would love to partner with you in our service together! We host teams and individuals at one of our three primary ministry communities who are called to serve in a variety of ways. As you pray about how God wants to involved you, here is a brief history of the kinds of investment teams have made at each site.

At Kasana Children’s Center we have been blessed by numerous teams, individuals and families who have used their construction or maintenance skills to build, medical knowledge to help in our clinic, teaching ability to assist in the primary school, and those with a common love for God’s children to point them to Him through VBS and other similar programs.

At Musana Camps we are looking for those who are willing to labor with both hands and work in the context of African Christian camping ministry.

At Kobwin Children’s Center we are looking for churches and teams who are willing to make a long term, invested commitment. Kobwin began as a refuge for formerly abducted children from the LRA, and now we are seeking educators, pastors, medical professionals, construction workers, and those who can teach specific skills and trades to serve with us.
